Moscow, Capital of Russia.

 

INTRODUCTION:

Russia also known as Russian federation is the largest country in the world by area and has 1/8th of the earths landmass. It has a population of around 146 Million and is the post populated country in Europe and the 9th most in the world. When talking about tourism Russia is very popular because of beautiful places and mountains and it was the 16th most visited place in the world and the 10th most in the Europe in 2018. In 2019, tourism accounted to almost 5% of the total GDP of Russia.

PLACES TO VISIT:

There are many beautiful places to visit in Russia and some of them are listed below;

MOSCOW:

Moscow is the capital of Russia and a well-known city. It is the attraction of tourist because of its greenery, eye catching architecture and historical places.

There are many places that you can visit in Moscow some of them are;

·         Kremlin.

·         Red Square.

·         St Basil’s Cathedral.

·         Pushkin Museum.

ST. PETERSBURG:

S. Petersburg is the 2nd largest city of Russia (Moscow is the largest City of Russia). Even though it is smaller than Moscow but in my view it has much more of offer than Moscow, there are so many places to visit that you can’t visit whole St. Petersburg in one day.

Some of the places you should visit in St. Petersburg are as follows;

·         Moika Palace.

·         St. Isaac’s Cathedral.

·         Hermitage Museum (2nd Largest Museum in the World).

·         Peterhof Palace.

DAGESTAN:  

It also known as Republic of Dagestan as it is a Republic of Russia. it is famous because of a person whose name is Khabib Nurmagomedov, He was a UFC (Ultimate Fighting Champion) Light weight champion and Pound for Pound best fighter when he retired. Even though Dagestan is famous because of a person but it has very beautiful places and mountains that catch people’s attention.

CONCLUSION:

In conclusion I would say that if you haven’t travelled to Russia what are you waiting for? I assure you that you will not regret your decision and you will definitely visit it again.
