It is home to an estimated 1.5 million people. In 2021, Helsinki was ranked the happiest city in Europe. Moreover, the city was visited by 3.5 million international tourists as well.

1: Fortified Islands of Suomenlinna:

The castles built in 1800s were home to Swedish army to deter wars from the east. Today they are open for public as museum and are include in UNESCO’s list of world heritage monuments.
