It’s one of Switzerland's national dish. You can have it in your breakfast as it is popular all over Switzerland. It is a dish that can refill your energy so you can also have it after a long hike. It's a flat cake that is made of shredded potatoes and some onions deep fried in butter and smothered with cheese and then topped with fried egg.
Cheese fondue:
This is the considered to be the best food dish to try while in Switzerland. Fondue is a French word which means melted. You can find this fish in many restaurants and streets all over the country. You will get a pan of cheese which will be melted right at your table over open flame whereas you will get some bread and potatoes to be dipped in hot melting cheese using a long fork. Served with tea can bring so much comfort especially in the cold winter days.
